Ultima Preamplifier

Ultima Pre is the flagship preamplifier, built to partner the Ultima mono amplifiers, and it is a preamplifier only in the sense that a lens is only glass. It is true dual mono: two entirely separate channels, each with its own high-frequency power supply, which is where the -120 dB signal-to-noise figure comes from. Sensitive sections sit inside milled aluminium shields to keep radio frequencies out of the signal, and each unit is hand-built in Kent under one technician from start to finish. Four balanced and four unbalanced inputs, three selectable outputs, plus separate frequency adjustment for left and right on the fascia. Thirty kilos in a double-height case on the Integra leg system. Above it there is nothing.
