Chord Electronics 2YU DAC
You want the streaming of 2go — Roon, ethernet, the library on a card — but not necessarily on a Hugo 2. Maybe your converter is another brand, maybe you want an M Scaler in between, maybe you want to turn an ethernet socket in a second room into music. 2yu clips onto a 2go and gives it the outputs it lacks: optical, coaxial on RCA and BNC, and USB. So the stream reaches any converter with a digital input. Inside, a sample-rate converter quietly scales down when an output can't carry what arrives, and a low-jitter clock keeps the timing honest. Same aluminium, same four illuminated spheres. 2yu makes no sound itself: it needs a 2go underneath and a converter behind.
