Chord Electronics POLY/BL DAC
You have a Mojo 2 and you are tired of the cable to your phone — or your music no longer fits on that phone. Poly clips onto the Mojo and cuts the cable. Your phone is then only the remote: the music comes from your network, via Roon, AirPlay or DLNA, or from a micro-SD card holding a library no phone can carry. The device in your hand may do what it likes — a notification, another app, into the pocket — and the music from your card or your network plays on. Nine hours from four hours' charging, both together. Alone, Poly does nothing: a Mojo 2 or Mojo is required. And it speaks only 2.4 GHz wifi, the band Chord chose for stability.
