Ultima
Ultima is Chord's amplification at full size, and the numbering runs downwards: Ultima is the flagship mono block, then Ultima 2 and Ultima 3 below it, with the stereo Ultima 5 as the way in. Preamplifiers follow the same order — Ultima Pre, then Pre 2, then Pre 3. One integrated amplifier sits outside the ladder for anyone who wants the topology in a single box. All of it shares one circuit: the dual-feed-forward error-correction design that took Chord three decades to arrive at.
