Chord Electronics 2GO DAC
Your Hugo 2 sits in the rack and you want it to be your streamer too — Roon, your NAS, your streaming service from your phone — without an extra box and power supply. 2go screws onto its back and makes it that streamer: ethernet next to wifi, Roon Ready, AirPlay, DLNA, bluetooth, and two micro-SD slots for four terabytes between them. With your library on board and both devices charged, the whole chain runs on battery, with no mains supply near the electronics — for whoever wants the purest listening, that is the point. Every input stays awake: switching source is pressing play in another app. A Hugo 2 is required; the wifi is 2.4 GHz, so whoever wants rock-solid pulls the ethernet cable; and setup happens once, via Chord's Gofigure app.
