Hugo TT2
Hugo TT 2 is what a Hugo 2 becomes when it stops having to fit in a pocket, and it is second only to DAVE. The filter doubles to 98,304 taps across eighty-six parallel cores, and the ten-element output stage is fed by six supercapacitors instead of a battery — able to deliver five amps on demand, which is why it drives difficult headphones without hesitating and 18 watts into 8 ohms balanced. Dynamic range of 127 dB. It is a digital preamplifier as well, with XLR and RCA outputs, so it can run straight into a BerTTi and be the only source component in the system. Two and a half kilos, and it can take an M Scaler later. Hi-Fi Choice named it group test winner in 2020.
