2GO
2go is what Poly is to Mojo 2, but for Hugo 2 — and rather more besides. It bolts to the back of a Hugo 2 and turns it into a network player with gigabit Ethernet as well as Wi-Fi, Roon Ready, DLNA, AirPlay and Bluetooth, plus two micro SD slots holding up to four terabytes between them. That last part is the interesting one: with a library on board and both units charged, the whole chain runs on battery, with no mains supply anywhere near the electronics. Every input stays awake, so switching source means pressing play in a different app rather than selecting anything. Set-up is through Chord's own free app. A hundred and fifty-nine grams, and a Hugo 2 is required.
